Key Responsibilities:

Processing Financial Transactions:

Recording day-to-day financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments.

Ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in the company's accounting system.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconciling the company’s bank statements with the internal ledger to ensure that all payments and receipts are properly accounted for.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Managing and processing payments to suppliers (Accounts Payable).

Ensuring timely collection of payments from clients (Accounts Receivable).

Invoicing:

Generating and issuing invoices to customers.

Following up on outstanding payments and maintaining accurate records.

Expense Management:

Handling employee expense reports and processing reimbursements.

Verifying receipts and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Payroll Support:

Assisting with payroll processing by preparing and reviewing payroll data, ensuring that employees are paid on time and accurately and statutory paid on time.

Handling queries related to payroll deductions, taxes, and payments.

Financial Reporting:

Helping in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and inventory reports.

Compiling and organizing financial data for reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Supporting Audits:

Assisting in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Maintaining Accurate Records:

Ensuring all financial records are up-to-date, organized, and properly filed.

Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data in the accounting system.

VAT and Tax Filing:

Assisting in preparing and filing Value Added Tax (VAT) returns and other relevant taxes.

Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

Inventory Management:

Ensuring inventory at the warehouse, sites and the shops is accurately recorded through transfers, purchases, sales and making adjustments to accurately reflect the inventory.

General Administrative Tasks:

Answering finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Providing administrative support to the finance team, including managing correspondence and organizing documents.

- Any other related duties as may be required from time to time.
