Accounts Assistant
Job summary
We are seeking a female Accounts Assistant aged 23–30 years who has completed CPA and has good knowledge of statutory deductions. The ideal candidate will support the accounts function while also handling administrative duties, requiring strong communication skills, accuracy, and organization.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Duties:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial
records.
- Handle statutory deductions and compliance including PAYE,
NHIF, NSSF, and VAT.
- Assist in payroll preparation and processing.
- Record daily transactions, expenses, and payments.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Assist in invoice preparation, filing, and reconciliations.
Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support to the office.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence
professionally.
- Maintain proper filing systems for financial and
administrative documents.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and managing office records.
- Support management with clerical and reporting tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA finalist.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant experience
in accounting or administrative roles.
- Good understanding of statutory deductions and basic accounting principles.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and
accounting software is an added advantage.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
