Job descriptions & requirements

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable/ receivable, bank reconciliations and   petty cash management.

·         Liaise with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

·         Record day-to-day financial transactions.

·         Maintain proper filing and documentation of accurate financial records.

·         Assist with basic tax compliance and statutory deductions as required.

·         Prepare routine accounting reports and summaries for management.

·         Monitor daily and weekly cash flow positions.

·         Support bookkeeping and recording of expenses for financial reporting.

·         Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

·         2 – 3 years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Management.

·         Bachelor of Commerce Degree; Accounting or Finance Option.

·         CPA Part 1 and 2 or ACCA.

·         High attention to detail and good numerical skills.

·         Proficiency in excel and basic accounting systems.

·         Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for conveying financial information to the management.
