Job Summary
The Accounts Intern will support the finance department in day-to-day accounting functions, including data entry, reconciliations, filing, and financial record management. The role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports.
- Support in data entry of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
- Help in filing and organizing financial documents for audit and compliance.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Assist in tracking expenses and updating accounting systems.
- Perform any other accounting duties assigned by the finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Section 1 (ongoing) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
