Agricum Limited is an agricultural and dairy farming company based in Nanyuki, Kenya. We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Animal Feeds Sales Associate to support the sales and distribution of animal feeds and related products while developing strong relationships with dairy farmers and other customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell animal feeds and related agricultural products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new customers and sales opportunities in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, and surrounding areas.
• Visit farms, dairy farmers, agro-dealers, and potential customers to introduce products and generate sales.
• Understand customers' livestock and dairy-production needs and recommend appropriate feed products.
• Explain product benefits, usage, feeding practices, and other relevant information to customers.
• Follow up with customers to encourage repeat purchases and build long-term relationships.
• Meet agreed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the animal-feed business.
• Monitor customer feedback, market trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, orders, and follow-ups.
• Work closely with the farm and management team to ensure customer orders are handled efficiently.
• Participate in farmer meetings, demonstrations, agricultural events, and promotional activities when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Animal Health, Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Nutrition, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in animal-feed sales, dairy farming, agricultural sales, agro-input sales, or a related field is an advantage.
• Good understanding of dairy cattle, animal feeds, and basic livestock nutrition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with farmers and customers.
• Sales-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Ability to work independently and conduct field visits.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be willing to work in Nanyuki and surrounding areas.
