Job summary
The Architect will be responsible for providing architectural design, planning and technical expertise across the company’s real estate development projects, from concept development through to construction and completion. The role will translate development concepts into functional, aesthetically appealing and commercially viable designs.

Key Responsibilities
· Architectural Design & Concept Development - Develop innovative, functional and commercially viable designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
· Preparation of Architectural Drawings - Produce concept, schematic, detailed and construction drawings, specifications and related documentation.
· Real Estate Development Planning - Provide architectural input into property development concepts, feasibility studies, space planning and development strategies.
· Regulatory Approvals & Compliance - Coordinate planning and building approvals and ensure projects comply with applicable laws, codes and development regulations.
· Consultant Coordination - Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and other project consultants.
· Construction Supervision - Conduct site visits and monitor construction to ensure works conform to approved designs, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
· Value Engineering & Cost Optimisation - Recommend practical design and material solutions that optimise project costs without compromising functionality, quality or aesthetics.
· Stakeholder & Contractor Management- Liaise with developers, contractors, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders on design and project-related matters.
· Project Documentation & Reporting- Maintain accurate architectural drawings, approvals, design revisions, technical documents and provide regular project updates.
· Design Innovation & Market Trends - Keep abreast of architectural, construction, sustainability and real estate trends and incorporate relevant innovations into property developments.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
· Registration with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) or relevant professional body.
· 5+ years of relevant architectural experience, preferably with significant experience in a real estate or property development company.
· Proven experience taking projects from concept design through approvals, construction and completion.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop or other relevant architectural/design software.
· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and contractors.
