Requirements: O Level Certificate Of Education. Cpa Part Ii (Minimum) Accounting Qualifications. Bachelors Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field Is An Added Advantage. Knowledge Of Cost Accounting And Inventory Management Systems. Familiarity With Regulatory Compliance Related To Pharmaceutical Imports And Distribution. Good Knowledge Of Kenyan Tax Regulations. Skills In Import Documentation And Landed Cost Computation Is An Added Advantage.
Experience: Minimum 3 Years Relevant Working Experience As Assistant Accountant Or Accountant In A Manufacturing Environment. Experience In Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, Fmcg, Or Agricultural Manufacturing Sector Is Highly Preferred.
Salary: Kshs. 40,000 - 55,000 Plus Company Benefits
Responsibilities: -
- Manufacturing & Cost Accounting: Assist In Preparation And Analysis Of Product Costing (Raw Materials, Labor, Overhead Allocation). Monitor Bills Of Materials (Boms) And Production Cost Variances. Track Work-In-Progress (Wip) and Finished Goods Inventory. Support Monthly Stock Valuation And Reconciliation. Participate In Periodic Physical Stock Counts And Variance Analysis. Monitor Import Clearing Costs And Landed Cost Calculations.
- Inventory & Distribution Accounting: Reconcile Warehouse Stock (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods). Monitor Batch Tracking And Expiry Management Accounting. Ensure Proper Accounting For Imports, Duties, Vat, and Supplier Payments. Review Distributor And Customer Account Reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare Monthly Management Accounts And Schedules. Maintain General Ledger Integrity. Assist In Budgeting And Forecasting Processes.
- Support Statutory Compliance (Vat, Paye, Nhif, Nssf, Withholding Tax). Assist In Audit Preparations (Internal And External).
- Payables & Receivables Management: Process Supplier Invoices And Payment Vouchers. Reconcile Supplier Statements. Monitor Customer Receivables And Follow Up On Outstanding Balances. Support Credit Control Procedures.
- Internal Controls: Ensure Adherence To Internal Controls In Procurement, Production, And Distribution. Assist In Implementing Cost Control Measures. Support Erp/System Improvements And Compliance Checks.
