We are a leading private sector tea packaging and marketing company with a countrywide distribution network.
The company has over 30 year’s presence in the Kenyan and international markets. Its local market share is estimated at over 70% and has staff strength of more than 400.
In order to support its fast modernisation initiatives, talent development and enhancement of shareholder value, the company is seeking to recruit talented, innovative and result oriented individuals.
The positions will be based in Kericho and will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s objectives are met.
Brand Manager
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and controlling standards to ensure a consistent approach for the company brands.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop strategic brand plans for existing/new brands.
•Champion execution and implementation of brand plans to meet volume and value objectives.
•Analyze and support development/implementation of brand programmes.
•Prudently manage budgets for brand programmes.
•Carry out Research on trends in consumer behaviour.
•Monitor and report brand performance and market trends.
•Carry out brand PR activities.
•Develop and manage product innovation and launches.
•Work closely with external agencies to build on brand share and visibility
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
•Bachelors Degree in Marketing.
•A Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing will be an added advantage.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in brand management.
•1 year experience in an FMCG environment.
•Conversant with advertising agency operations.
•Past experience dealing with multiple products.
•Conversant with Consumer engagement, Brand positioning and Product development.
•Computer literate.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Strong negotiation and organization skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•Good leadership skills.
