Role Summary
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Assistant Manager – Merchandise / Retail Planning to support retail performance through strong assortment planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Support assortment planning and buying across stores
Plan and monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and sell-through
Allocate stock store-wise based on sales performance
Track daily sales reports and provide performance insights
Support and execute visual merchandising standards
Coordinate with vendors on order placement, delivery schedules, and replenishments
Ensure timely stock replenishment to maximize store performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, or related field
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in merchandise / retail planning
Experience in Sports Footwear, Sports Apparel, Accessories, or Sports Equipment
Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
Good communication and stakeholder management ability
