JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Safety, Health & Environment Officer, the Assistant Safety, Health & Environment Officer will support workplace safety compliance, SHE inspections, incident tracking, emergency preparedness, HSE committee coordination, awareness training, documentation, and reporting. The role will help ensure compliance with company policy, OSHA 2007, NEMA, WIBA, and other applicable regulatory standards.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.Basic professional certification in Environment, Health and Safety or progress toward professional body registration is an added advantage.At least 1–2 years’ relevant work experience in workplace safety compliance.Good foundational understanding of EHS regulations and statutory compliance in Kenya, including OSHA, NEMA, and WIBA.Experience compiling data, updating incident trackers, maintaining safety records, and preparing compliance reports.
