Audit Senior

Kyengo and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, is a growing mid-tier audit and advisory firm based in Nairobi, serving a diverse portfolio of SMEs, corporates, and institutions across multiple sectors.  We are looking for a high-performing Audit Senior ready to take ownership of engagements.

The Role

• Lead audit assignments from planning through completion
• Supervise and review work of junior team members
• Assess internal controls and provide value-adding recommendations
• Build and manage strong client relationships

·        Review and verify financial and management reports

·        Maintain and reconcile client records and transactions

·        Identify and mitigate operational risks

·        Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards

Ideal Profile

• CPA (K) or equivalent qualifications
• 2–3 years’ experience in a busy audit practice
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Kenyan tax framework
• Commercially aware and solution-oriented
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
• Strong grasp of financial systems and technology
