Requirements:
Diploma or degree in sales & marketing, business management, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry, or related field.
Technical knowledge of automotive refinishing processes (spray painting, surface prep, colour matching) is a strong advantage.
Valid driving license (class bce or equivalent) preferred for field mobility.
Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sales of automotive paints, coatings, body shop supplies, industrial finishes, or related technical sales.
Demonstrated experience managing a sales territory and meeting sales targets. Experience working with garages, distributors, or industrial customers is highly desirable.
Experience in any coating-related industry (industrial paints, marine coatings, powder coatings) will also be considered.
Salary: Kshs. 100,000 - 120,000 plus company benefits

The automotive finishes sales representative will be responsible for driving sales of automotive paints, coatings, and related refinishing products.
The role involves developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical knowledge and service excellence by performing the following responsibilities:- promote and sell the companys automotive paint and refinishing product range to existing and prospective clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key sectors.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and presentations to customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive garages, distributors, and other industry clients. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide actionable insights.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and weekly activity updates for management. Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Provide after-sales support, including handling product queries and coordinating with the technical team on any customer issues.
Work closely with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are processed effectively.
