The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards, handling customer transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages. • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment. • Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste. • Greet customers warmly and provide professional service. • Process customer orders and payments accurately. • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards. • Monitor stock levels and report shortages. • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
Qualifications
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field is an added advantage. • Barista training certificate preferred. • Experience in a café, restaurant, or hotel environment is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong coffee preparation and latte art skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. •Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Requirements
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista. • Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee brewing techniques. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. • Professional appearance and grooming
standards.
