Position Responsibilities

● System Design: Develop detailed BMS system designs based on project specifications, including architectures, control panel layouts, sensor and actuator selection, and integration with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, security).

● Specification and Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and other necessary documentation for project execution.

● Installation Oversight: Supervise and participate in the installation of BMS hardware, including controllers, sensors, actuators, wiring, and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project plans.

● Programming and Configuration: Program and configure BMS controllers and software to meet project requirements, including developing control sequences, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and alarm management systems.

● Commissioning and Testing: Perform thorough testing and commissioning of installed BMS systems to verify functionality, performance, and integration with other building systems.

● As-Built Documentation: Create and maintain accurate as-built drawings, system documentation, and operation and maintenance manuals.

● Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline OR a Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.

● One to two years of demonstrable hands-on experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Building Management and Automation Systems.

● Some experience with BMS hardware and software platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, etc.).

● Good knowledge of CAD tools like AutoCAD and Revit.

● Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Skills Required

● Experience with specific BMS protocols e.g., BACnet, Modbus.

● Knowledge of network protocols and IT infrastructure related to BMS.

● Certifications in relevant BMS technologies.

● Proficiency in CAD
