Job descriptions & requirements

  • Key Responsibilities
    Sales & Business Development
    Act as the primary sales resource for the branch, driving deposits, lending, and trade finance growth.
    Manage and expand corporate and HNI client portfolios, maintaining strong relationships.
    Structure, underwrite, and approve credit facilities for corporates and high-value clients.
    Achieve branch revenue, deposit, and lending targets.
    Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of clients and industry contacts.

    Operations & Compliance

    Oversee daily branch operations, including opening/closing and security measures.
    Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
    Maintain safe custody of vaults, cash, loan documents, and records.
    Submit accurate statutory and internal reports.

    People Leadership

    Lead, supervise, coach, and develop branch staff to ensure high performance.
    Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and customer focus.

    Risk & Asset Protection

    Safeguard branch assets and implement internal controls.
    Act as joint custodian of vaults and cash, ensuring operational and financial security.
    Experience
    Minimum 10+ years in banking and branch/business management.
    Proven experience managing medium branches in large banks or large branches in mid-tier/smaller banks.
    Strong background in corporate banking, trade finance, and HNI/deposit management.
    Demonstrated ability in credit analysis, underwriting, and approval of facilities.
    Track record of delivering branch sales, revenue, and portfolio growth.
    Academic Qualifications
    Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Management.
    Master’s Degree is an advantage.
