The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing the College's training programmes, identifying new institutional training opportunities, building strategic client relationships, coordinating training proposals, and converting leads into confirmed training engagements.

Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for corporate, government, NGO, and donor-funded training programmes.
- Marketing BDIT COLLEGE's professional, executive, technical, entrepreneurship, and customized institutional training programmes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Human Resource Managers, Learning and Development Managers, Training Coordinators, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Preparing high-quality training proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), quotations, and technical presentations.
- Following up on training enquiries and converting them into confirmed training assignments.
- Coordinating institutional marketing campaigns to increase enrolment in open and customized training programmes.
- Conducting market research to identify emerging training needs and opportunities.
- Organizing client visits, training presentations, exhibitions, networking events, and stakeholder engagement forums.
- Developing strategic partnerships with organizations seeking staff development and capacity-building services.
- Tracking business opportunities, client engagements, proposals submitted, conversion rates, and training revenue.
- Supporting digital marketing initiatives to promote BDIT COLLEGE's training programmes.
- Working closely with trainers and programme coordinators to design client-focused training solutions.
- Representing BDIT COLLEGE professionally during client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Commerce, Education, Project Management, or a related field.
- Diploma with 3 years experience in sales and marketing from reputable training institions
· Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, sales, marketing, client engagement, or corporate training.
- Demonstrated experience selling training, consultancy, learning and development, or professional services.
- Strong proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience engaging government institutions, NGOs, corporate organizations, universities, or development partners will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate Business development and sales excellence competency
