Requirements:  Bachelors Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Healthcare Management, Or A Related Field. Strong Understanding Of The Kenyan Healthcare Ecosystem And Regulatory Environment. Proven Track Record In Launching Profitable Products Or Services. Strong Commercial Acumen With A Focus On Profitability And Growth. Excellent Negotiation, Relationship Management, And Stakeholder Engagement Skills. Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Clinical And Non-Clinical Teams.

Experience:  Minimum Of 5 Years Relevant Experience In Business Development, Strategy, Or Commercial Roles Within Healthcare, Medical Facilities, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Health Insurance, Or Related Sectors. Experience In Partnership Development, Negotiations, And Contract Management.

Salary:  Kshs. 75,000 - 85,000 Plus Company Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth & Portfolio Development. Identify, Develop, And Launch New Profitable Medical Products And Service Lines Aligned With Market Demand And Institutional Strategy. 
  • Conduct Market Research To Assess Patient Needs, Competitor Offerings, Pricing Trends, And Revenue Potential. Develop Business Cases And Financial Models For New Product Lines, Ensuring Strong Return On Investment. 
  • Monitor Performance Of Existing Products And Recommend Optimization Or Expansion Strategies. 
  • Partnerships & Strategic Alliances. Initiate, Negotiate, And Manage Strategic Partnerships With Insurers, Corporates, Pharmaceutical Companies, Medical Suppliers, Ngos, And Referral Networks. 
  • Develop Public Private Partnerships And Corporate Healthcare Programs To Drive Consistent Revenue Streams. Structure Partnership Agreements That Align With Regulatory Requirements And Profitability Targets. Maintain and Grow Long-Term Partner Relationships To Maximize Value. 
  • Revenue & Profitability Management. Drive Revenue Growth Through Targeted Business Development Initiatives And Cross Selling Opportunities. Work Closely With Clinical, Finance, Operations, And Marketing Teams To Ensure Commercially Viable Offerings. 
  • Track And Report On Revenue Performance, Margins, And Key Growth Metrics. Identify Cost Efficiency And Pricing Optimization Opportunities. Market Expansion & Brand Growth. 
  • Identify New Market Segments And Geographic Expansion Opportunities. Support Marketing And Sales Teams In Developing Go To Market Strategies For New Offerings. 
  • Represent The Organization At Industry Forums, Corporate Meetings, And Stakeholder Engagements. 
  • Compliance & Governance. Ensure All Business Development Activities Comply With Healthcare Regulations, Ethical Standards, And Internal Governance Policies. Stay Informed On Healthcare Industry Trends, Regulatory Changes, And Emerging Business Models.
