Business Development Executive
Job summary
Tari Africa Platforms Limited is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development Executive to drive growth for our Prepaid Metering Solutions. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, close sales, and build long-term client relationships across SMEs, property developer, Landlords.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in SMEs, real estate developments, property management firms, landlords and corporates.
- Promote and sell company solutions including Prepaid Water & Electricity Metering Solutions.
- Develop proposals for smart metering projects (apartment blocks, commercial buildings, estates, institutions)
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to property owners and developers
- Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to closing
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and contracts
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure smooth project handover to the technical team
- Attend networking events, real estate forums, and business expos
- Maintain accurate CRM records and submit weekly sales reports
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Real Estate, Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in B2B,C2B sales (preferably software, technology, real estate solutions, or utilities)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-driven with strong revenue growth focus
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
