Our client is a fast-growing social enterprise focused on designing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing renewable and clean energy technologies (RETs).We are seeking an experienced, strategic & results-driven BDM to lead the company’s sales operations, market expansion, and distribution strategy.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will oversee demand creation, sales forecasting, distribution channel management, debt collection, and overall sales growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving the company’s growth agenda across urban, peri-urban, and rural markets.
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Lead execution of annual sales and marketing plans
• Drive market expansion and manage retail and distribution networks
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective action strategies
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team for high performance
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities
• Coordinate events, promotions, and brand visibility activities
• Utilize digital and social media marketing strategies to generate sales and brand awareness
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
• Ensure effective debt collection in line with company credit policies
• Prepare regular sales and marketing performance reports for management review
🔹 REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ senior sales experience in a mid-sized or large organization
• Strong experience in Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs) sales is mandatory
• Proven experience managing and leading sales teams across different markets
• Experience in distribution of Last Mile Solutions is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, business development, negotiation, and people management skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient in computer applications and digital marketing tools
• High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work with minimal supervision
🔹 PERFORMANCE TARGETS
• Personal Sales Target: 10 Electric Pressure Cookers per month
• Team Sales Target: 2,000 – 2,500 EPC units per month
