We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Manager who will play a vital role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the manufacturing, building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
· Support the sales team in project identification, lead generation, and commercial negotiations.
· Engage with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and consultants to position the company’s solutions effectively.
· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and solution walkthroughs to project stakeholders.
· Offer recommendations on best practices to optimize product usage and project outcomes.
· Collaborate with the sales team during proposal development, tender submissions, and project bidding.
· Coordinate with production, logistics, and operations to ensure timely delivery of products for projects.
· Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and project pipelines.
· Provide insights to the sales and management team to refine strategies and product positioning.
· Monitor client feedback and technical challenges to improve product offerings and services.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, project stakeholders, and consultants.
· Act as the technical point of contact for high-value clients and complex projects.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and promote long-term business relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical/Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
Requirements
· 8 years’ experience in business development or sales within the Manufacturing - building materials industry.
· Strong understanding of construction processes, tendering procedures, and project cycles.
· Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
· Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
· Good understanding of contracts and tender documentation.
· Understanding of sales performance metrics
· Financial and commercial awareness.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Self-driven and results-oriented.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
