DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare and execute sales growth plans aligned with organizational objectives.

Sales & Customer Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and corporate accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing customer portfolios.
  • Support the sales team in negotiating major contracts and closing high-value business opportunities.

Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Monitor retail pricing, product positioning, and market dynamics to support competitive decision-making.
  • Provide market intelligence and business insights to support strategic planning.

Performance Management
  • Monitor business development performance against established revenue and growth targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance reports for management.
  • Recommend initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and operations teams to support business objectives.
  • Represent the organization during client meetings, industry events, and business networking opportunities.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing successful sales and business growth strategies.
  • Experience within the FMCG or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
