The Business Development Officer will drive sales and market growth for plastic packaging, focusing on stackable crates. They will identify new opportunities, manage customer relationships, and promote value-added products like IML and stretch solutions to boost revenue and market share.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Drive sales of stackable crates and plastic packaging solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and follow-ups to close sales
- Prepare and track sales targets and pipeline performance
- Provide customer support and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements
- Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and margin targets
- Promote IML and stretch solutions where applicable
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong understanding of plastic packaging and industrial sales
- Exposure to stackable crates / returnable packaging
- Experience in IML and/or stretch products is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in sales or business development within plastic packaging industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Customer relationship management

- Strong communication and presentation skills
