Job Summary
As a business development officer at Okijoseo supplies, you will play a role in driving business growth and expanding our in clients portfolio in Lake Region Economic Block (LREB.) You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationship with potential clients and developing strategic partnership to enhance our market presence. The candidate will have proven track record of sales success, excellent communication skills, and deep understanding of B2B and B2C marketing skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Salary: Ksh 60,000/= Inclusive negotiable perks.
Qualification and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing.
• Proven experience of net less than 4yrs in business development, sales or similar role.
• Strong understanding of marketing principle and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborative in fast paced environment.
• Advanced skills in CRM software, power point and excel.
• Capacity to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data drawn decision.
• Good leadership and team building abilities.
• Result oriented mindset and focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Experience in driving and understands LREB market.
Roles and responsibilities.
• Identify business opportunities, create marketing strategies, and selling of our products and solutions to established and upcoming businesses.
• Conduct market survey, competitor activity and developing tailored job roles, and industry training programs.
• Relationship building with our current and past client, cross selling, reselling & up-selling, cold selling and other outreach activities.
• Driving culture of continuous professional developments (CPD.)
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling proposal and presentation that showcase our services and capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreement with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
• Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform sales strategies and tactics.
• Work closely with cooperatives, farmers, and businesses handling farm inputs and outputs.
• Attend marketing workshops and fora’s.
• Assist in setting up regional trade fairs and exhibitions.
