THE ROLE

We are seeking two (2) highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representatives to join our team under Exponential Media Africa Limited. These representatives will be responsible for driving growth across our entire ecosystem, representing the unique service offerings of all three businesses to corporate clients, FMCGs, and international brands.

The ideal candidate possesses a "Can-Do" spirit and is capable of building lifelong, trustworthy relationships while navigating the intersection of marketing strategy, creative design, and technical visual production.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●       Strategic Lead Generation: Identify and prospect high-value clients across Africa, focusing on sectors such as FMCG, Hospitality, Finance, and Telecommunications.

●       Integrated Solutions Selling: Consult with clients to provide holistic packages that combine marketing strategy (EMA), creative branding (Creative Agency), and high-end visual content (eSTUDIOS).

●       Pitch & Proposal Development: Collaborate with creative leads to develop winning pitch decks and proposals that demonstrate clear ROI for prospective clients.

●       Market Intelligence: Conduct competitor research and market analysis to identify "blue ocean" opportunities and maintain our competitive edge.

●       Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for new accounts, ensuring that client needs are accurately translated to the production and creative teams.

●       Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the group at industry events, summits, and networking forums to increase the visibility of our 360-degree capabilities.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

●       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.

●       Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the advertising, media, or creative industry.

●       Skills:  Strong understanding of the Kenyan and regional media landscape.

○       Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

○       Ability to interpret complex client briefs and recommend multi-agency solutions.

○       Proficiency in CRM tools and professional presentation software (PowerPoint/Keynote).

●       Attributes: High level of professional ethics, accountability, and a proactive leadership mindset.
