About the Role
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Representative with proven experience in printers and printing machines to support sales growth and market expansion along Enterprise Road, Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales skills, technical understanding of printing solutions, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for printers, photocopiers, and printing machines.
• Conduct market research and prospecting within Enterprise Road and surrounding commercial and industrial areas.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, printing presses, schools, NGOs, and institutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients, explaining features, benefits, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales contracts; negotiate pricing and close deals.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Coordinate with technical and service teams to ensure smooth installation, maintenance, and after-sales support.
• Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM or sales tracking tools.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably in printers, printing machines, or office equipment.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling to B2B clients within Nairobi, preferably along Enterprise Road.

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of printer technology and printing workflows.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored printing solutions.
• Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM systems.

Preferred Attributes
• Experience with large-format printers, production printers, or managed print services.
• Valid driving license and ability to conduct client visits.
• Strong understanding of Nairobi’s commercial and industrial market.
