Key Responsibilities
Support the full business development cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development and contract closure.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across consulting, advisory, training, and academy offerings.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across corporate, donor, investor, and development-sector clients.
Support the identification and submission of RFPs, tenders, grants, and partnership opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, NGOs, foundations, investors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare proposals, capability statements, presentations, and pitch decks.
Assist in negotiating commercial terms and managing client engagements.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Support thought leadership initiatives and market visibility efforts.
Conduct market research and provide insights on emerging opportunities and trends.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Development Studies, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, sales, or client relationship management.
Experience in consulting, development, sustainability, impact investing, training, or professional services is an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience developing proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
Strong networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, climate, impact investing, or SME development is desirable.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify and pursue revenue opportunities.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or pipeline management tools.
