ABOUT THE COMPANY

Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.

JOB SUMMARY

Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.Professional qualifications in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Marketing, or related areas are an added advantage.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, enterprise development, project management, or a related field.Strong knowledge of business planning, financial management, and market analysis.Excellent business development, negotiation, and networking skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant business management tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
