About the Company

NEWMATIC COUNTERTOP LIMITED is a professional countertop company specializing in sintered stone countertops, kitchen worktops, kitchen islands, vanity tops, dining tables, and customized stone projects.

We are building a standardized countertop manufacturing, measurement, and installation system in Kenya. We are looking for motivated Channel Development Officers to help us grow our market through designers, contractors, cabinet makers, furniture shops, developers, and project clients.

Position Summary

The Channel Development Officer is responsible for developing external business channels and bringing qualified customer leads to the company.

This is not only an office sales position. The candidate must be able to visit potential partners, build relationships, follow up customers, and report results every day.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop cooperation channels with interior designers, contractors, cabinet makers, furniture shops, developers, architects, and kitchen companies.
  2. Visit potential partners and introduce NEWMATIC countertop products and services.
  3. Collect customer project information and submit it to the company system.
  4. Follow up leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, and site visits.
  5. Help arrange customer showroom visits, measurement requests, and quotation follow-ups.
  6. Report daily customer visits, new leads, and follow-up status.
  7. Work closely with the Sales, Admin, Measurement, and Installation teams.
  8. Support marketing activities and promote NEWMATIC products in the local market.
  9. Maintain good relationships with partners and repeat customers.
  10. Follow company rules on punctuality, honesty, English communication, and timely reporting.

Requirements

  1. Experience in sales, business development, construction materials, furniture, interior design, real estate, renovation, or related industries.
  2. Existing network with designers, contractors, cabinet makers, developers, or furniture shops is an advantage.
  3. Good English communication skills.
  4. Good WhatsApp follow-up and customer communication ability.
  5. Must be punctual, honest, proactive, and result-driven.
  6. Must be able to work outside the office and visit clients.
  7. Must submit daily customer and channel follow-up reports.
  8. Must follow company procedures and record customer information properly.
  9. Ability to understand kitchen countertops, stone materials, and project requirements is an advantage.
  10. Must be willing to work under a basic salary plus commission structure.

We prefer candidates who have experience in:

  • Interior design sales
  • Building materials
  • Kitchen cabinets
  • Furniture sales
  • Construction and renovation projects
  • Real estate project sales
  • Contractor or developer networks

Compensation

The role includes:
