CHINESE TRANSLATOR
Job summary
The Chinese Translator will be responsible for translating verbal and written communication between Chinese and English/Swahili to support smooth communication within the company. The role involves assisting management, staff, and visitors in interpretation during meetings, production activities, training, and daily operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Translation, or related field
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English; knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage
- Previous experience as a translator/interpreter is an added advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Computer literacy and report writing skills
