Job Purpose: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation across all assigned sites.
  
• Lead, train, and motivate cleaning staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching.
  
• Oversee specialised cleaning services, including sofa cleaning, mattress cleaning, carpet cleaning, and fumigation services, ensuring correct procedures and safety standards are followed.
  
• Plan, schedule, and supervise carpet collection and dispatch operations, ensuring items are correctly labelled, logged, transported, and returned on time.
  
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
  
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including the safe handling of chemicals and fumigation materials.
  
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and machinery, ensuring availability, proper use, and maintenance.
  
• Prepare duty rosters, work schedules, and attendance records, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  
• Handle customer or client inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and checklists related to cleaning activities, fumigation schedules, and carpet logistics.
  
• Coordinate with management and other departments to support operational efficiency and service improvement.
  
• Respond effectively to urgent cleaning requests, emergencies, or special assignments as required.
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Previous experience working in a professional cleaning company is highly preferred.
  
• Must have a valid driving licence
  
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
  
• High level of honesty, reliability, and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
