The LWF Uganda Program is looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the following position:

Job Title:  NFI Clerk

No.of Positions:  One (1)

Place of Assignment:  Kiryandongo

Reports To: Admin/HR Assistant.

Starting date: ASAP

Core Mandate: The incumbent will be responsible for quality planning, implementation, monitoring, supervision, coordination, documentation and accountability of CRI/NFIâs distributions/ activities as well as stores management.

Specific duties/ responsibilities

Timely prepare and share CRI/NFI distribution plans, requisitions as well as logistical and prepositioning requests & plans internally and externally with UNHCR and logistical partner/department.

Management of stock in and out of the Ware House and stores and ensure proper documentation and accountability of stocks and stock movements.

Timely and regularly update stack/stock cards and ensure safety of items in store and proper accountability

Work with the project staff and ensure timely prepositioning CRIâs/NFIâs to the field locations for distribution and ensure safety of distribution items and items reach to the intended beneficiaries.

Work with Community structures, and recruit casual workers(loader/distributors) to support during distributions, loading and offloading of CRI/NFI items.

Actively participate in distribution activities including assessment of CRI needs, monitoring and supervision of distribution activities.

In liaison with the Project Assistant Community Services, conduct community mobilization and sensitization on CRI distributions and Entitlement Scale.

Participate in CRI reconciliation exercises and share Reconciliation reports.

Timely compile and share weekly and monthly store reports internally and with UNHCR Focal Person(s)

Participate in stock take exercises as stipulated by the organization.

Ensure proper accountability of CRI/NFI distribution items.

Prepare and submit timely distribution reports including weekly and monthly reports.

Conduct any other duty that will be assign by your Supervisor(s)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or Degree in Store/Ware House Management, Logistics and Procurement Management, Business Administration with a major in Supply Chain Management field.

EXPERIENCE

2-3 Years of experience in store/Ware house management with International/Reputable Organization(s).

Experience in distribution CRIâs/NFIâs with Reputable Organization and in a Busy setting especially in a refugee Operation/displaced person is a PLUS.
