ABOUT THE COMPANY

Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.

JOB SUMMARY

Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (or relevant regulatory authority).Valid practicing license.Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experienceStrong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.Knowledge of current medical practices, guidelines, and healthcare regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Proficiency in computer applications and electronic medical records systems is an added advantage.Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to patient-centered care.
