Job Summary
We are urgently looking for a Community Associate to play a key role in driving brand engagement, creating compelling short-form content, and managing vibrant online communities across multiple social media platforms. This role requires a creative storyteller with a strong grasp of digital culture, the ability to produce mobile-first content, and the enthusiasm to interact with followers while maintaining each brand’s unique voice. The ideal candidate is proactive, trend-aware, and passionate about building authentic connections between brands and their audiences.

Reporting to: Creative Lead
Gross Salary: KES 55,000 – 70,000
Location: Nairobi

Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Film/Production, or a related field.
Certification in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation (added advantage).
Portfolio or links to past work demonstrating short-form video skills is required.
Requirements
Proven experience in creating TikTok and Instagram Reels content.
Strong understanding of social media culture, trends, and platform-specific behaviors.
Skilled in basic video editing and design (CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar tools).
Ability to adapt content style, tone, and aesthetic for multiple brands.
Comfortable filming and occasionally appearing in content.
Strong communication skills and community engagement mindset.
Self-driven, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Create and publish short-form videos, reels, stories, and graphics for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
2. Maintain and manage content calendars for all three brand pages.
3. Shoot and edit content using mobile-first tools (CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.).
4. Identify and adapt to social media trends relevant to each brand.
5. Engage with followers by replying to comments, DMs, and building active communities.
6. Provide coverage during events and brand activations.
7. Track and report performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) with recommendations for improvement.
Desirable Skills
1. Experience working with influencers or content creators.
2. Basic graphic design capabilities (using Canva or similar tools).
3. Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics).
