Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and computer-proficient Construction Clerk to support our project operations. The ideal candidate will manage construction data, assist with procurement, and ensure seamless coordination between site and office teams to keep projects running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update construction project records, databases, and files
• Support procurement processes, including purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and supplier records
• Track materials usage, monitor stock levels, and anticipate site requirements
• Prepare accurate reports on project progress, costs, and materials
• Manage filing and organization of contracts, drawings, BOQs, and other project documents
• Liaise with site supervisors, suppliers, and office personnel to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to company procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Certificate in Construction Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or a related environment
• Proven experience in procurement support and data management
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and basic data systems)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes is an advantage
