CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and monitoring of construction project sites.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with established quality, health and safety, and site management standards.
• Coordinate artisans, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site activities to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress, labour utilization, material requirements, and overall site activities.
• Prepare timely and accurate site progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
• Identify potential delays, quality concerns, material shortages, and other site-related challenges, and escalate them promptly for appropriate action.
• Assist with procurement planning and coordinate the timely availability and delivery of required construction materials.
• Undertake site measurements and assist in the preparation and updating of project schedules, cutting lists, material schedules, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure that project activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project timelines, quality requirements, and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant construction or site-based experience is an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and project coordination.
• Ability to effectively read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, reporting, organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of project management or construction management software is an added advantage.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel and work across different project locations in Kenya.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, accountability, initiative, and strong problem-solving ability.
