JOB TITLE: CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT (2 POSITIONS)
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

JOB LOCATION: NGARA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Oversee company payroll, including statutory deductions for NHIF, NSSF, and SHIF.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and correct statutory tax filings through the KRA iTax portal (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax).
Cost & Project Accounting:
- Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted vs. actual costs, with a focus on technical projects and procurement activities.
- Monitor and report on project-specific expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Kenyan financial regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
Financial Analysis & Advisory:
- Provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies in financial management.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA-K certification or ACCA final qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate accounting, ideally within technical or project-based industries.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Deep familiarity with Kenyan tax compliance and experience with KRA iTax portal filings.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
