DELIVERY DRIVER
Job summary
We are seeking a self-motivated Delivery Driver to handle the timely and safe delivery of company products to clients within Nairobi and its environs. The ideal candidate is disciplined, customer-focused, and has a strong knowledge of Nairobi routes.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:*
1. Safely deliver company products to customers as per the daily delivery schedule.
2. Load and offload goods, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in good condition.
3. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel usage.
4. Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and proof of delivery documentation.
5. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays immediately.
6. Ensure company vehicle cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with traffic regulations.
7. Provide professional and courteous service to all clients during deliveries.
8. Assist with warehouse tasks such as packing and stock arrangement when not on delivery.
*Requirements:*
* 1. Valid Kenyan Driving License class BCE or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of proven driving experience, preferably in product delivery/distribution.
3. Excellent knowledge of Nairobi roads, routes, and estates.
4. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
5. KCSE certificate or equivalent; basic literacy and numeracy required.
6. Physically fit and able to load/offload goods.
7. High level of integrity, time management, and reliability.
8. Good communication and customer service skills.
