Her family has been by her side for support and encouragementDuties and responsibilities Deputizing the County Head of Security and EnforcementFormulating and implementing policies and strategies of the County security and enforcementCoordinating and enforcing security issues in the countyRegulating enforcement and security staff rules in the countyGiving regular reports on enforcement and security to the County Head of Security and enforcementDirecting, guiding and consulting on the day-to-day operationsCommanding and supervising uniformed and non-uniformed staffAppraising staff with regard to training, promotions, welfare and disciplineEnsuring cooperation and consultation with representatives of all government agencies on matters pertaining to enforcement and securityPerforming any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the superiors from time to time Requirements for appointment Be a Kenyan citizenMust have served in the position of Senior Superintendent for a minimum period of three yearsAttended a Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six weeks or its equivalent will be an added advantage.Bachelors degree in the following disciplines: Security Management, Criminology and Fraud Management, Criminology and Security Studies, Penology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institutionCertificate of Good ConductDemonstrated merit and shown ability as reflected in work performance and resultsCertificate in computer applications
