About Speedy ChuiSpeedy Chui Africa Limited is a technology-driven logistics company currently in the setup phase, building an automated parcel delivery network across Nairobi ahead of our go-live on 1st June 2026.Our operations are powered by Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) secure smart lockers connected through a real-time platform. We are scaling rapidly from 200 to 1,500+ APMs, requiring strong infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence.We are hiring founding technical team members who will play a critical role in building and scaling the platform from day one.About the RoleWe are looking for a DevOps Platform & Network Infrastructure Administrator to take ownership of platform reliability, infrastructure operations, and nationwide connectivity.This is a hands-on, high-impact role combining DevOps, systems administration, and network engineering.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldStrong experience in:Linux systems administrationDocker & KubernetesNetworking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)Experience with:Prometheus & GrafanaCI/CD pipelinesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBonusExperience with NetBird / Zero Trust networkingData centre or hybrid infrastructure experienceERPNext / IoT / distributed systems exposurePersonal AttributesHighly disciplined and execution-focusedOwnership mindset with strong accountabilityAbility to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy and manage microservices in a Kubernetes environmentBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deploymentsManage infrastructure within a data centre environmentConfigure and maintain network connectivity (LTE, LAN, Fiber)Manage Zero Trust networking (NetBird)Implement monitoring using Prometheus & GrafanaSupport ERPNext and internal platformsTroubleshoot system, network, and connectivity issuesSupport scaling from 200 to 1,500+ APM devices

REQUIRED SKILLS

System and network security, DevOps, Database servers, Database administration, Performance monitoring and evaluation, Active directory (AD), Cloud architectures and services, Container solutions (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes), Database query languages (SQL, others), User management and administration
