Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and mechanically-minded Driver to join our growing car hire business in Nairobi. In this role, you will be the face of our company when delivering and picking up vehicles for our clients. Beyond driving, you will play a crucial role in inspecting our fleet before and after every rental to ensure safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Delivery & Pickup: Safely drive and deliver car hire vehicles to client locations across Nairobi and collect them promptly upon the completion of the rental period.
Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to check engine health, tire conditions, fluid levels, and identify any potential mechanical or body issues.
Client Interaction: Maintain a professional, courteous, and polite demeanor when handing over vehicles to clients and explaining basic car controls.
Communication: Stay in constant, reliable contact with the Operations Manager via phone calls and WhatsApp regarding delivery updates, client feedback, and vehicle status.
Fleet Care: Ensure vehicles are kept clean, fueled, and in optimal working condition between trips.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of professional driving experience within Nairobi and surrounding regions.
Licensing: A valid Kenyan driving license (Classes BCE or relevant commercial endorsements) with a clean driving record.
Mechanical Knowledge: Must have a strong foundational understanding of cars; prior experience working as a mechanic or assistant mechanic is a distinct advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and active availability on WhatsApp and phone calls throughout working hours.
Soft Skills: Punctual, trustworthy, highly organized, and possessing a proactive customer-service attitude.

Also the salary would be 15 k , plus 500 kes for every vehicle delivery to the client (pick up from where the cars are stored and delivery to the client, plus he should do a quick check up as well to see if the vehicle condition is ok both technical and general appearance ).
