Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber technical leader to drive energy optimisation strategies and manage a team of specialists. This role focuses on the high-level interpretation of IoT energy data to deliver validated savings and long-term Net Zero strategies for multi-site commercial and industrial portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
● Team Leadership: Mentor a team of Energy Managers, ensuring technical accuracy in data interpretation and client reporting.
● Advanced Data Analytics: Oversee the Virtual Energy Management (VEM) process, translating complex IoT data into executive-level energy performance summaries.
● Engineering Oversight: Lead technical deployments, including the integration of smart controls (e.g., Eniscope) to automate energy reduction based on live load profiles.
● Net Zero Strategy: Develop data-backed roadmaps for clients, using historical consumption patterns to forecast the ROI of renewable energy transitions.
● Financial Validation: Use high-level data modeling to verify that on-site engineering changes reflect accurately in utility billing and project finance metrics.
Required Experience: Candidates must demonstrate deep proficiency in the following data-centric domains:
● IoT & Metering Architecture: Experience in designing data hierarchies for multi-site deployments, ensuring that sub-metering (3-phase and single-phase) captures critical load data for HVAC, lighting, and industrial motors.
● Data Validation & Verification (M&V): Proficiency in International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) standards to prove energy savings against a baseline.
● High-Granularity Analysis: Ability to analyze minute-by-minute energy profiles to identify "energy waste" patterns (e.g., base-load spikes, out-of-hours consumption, and phase imbalances).
● Advanced Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Data Modeling), AutoCAD for technical drawing overlays, and SAP for energy-related financial administration.
