Responsibilities

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team Identify and mitigate risks that could impact company success due to talent gaps Mentor and develop top engineering talent to ensure the long-term success of the team and the company Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback to team members Ensure that engineering processes and practices are efficient, effective, and scalable Build a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements that increase productivity and product quality Uphold and enforce standards to our codebases written in Javascript, typescript, python and SQL Understand the complexity of the Product through architectural reviews Work closely with the team to review their code and provide constructive feedback on how to improve it.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years in a management or leadership role Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills – bridging geographically distributed teams Proven ability to lead and manage software development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices Experience working in the health care industry is a plus
