ABOUT THE COMPANY

Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.

JOB SUMMARY

Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-Diploma in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Land Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.Professional certification and membership in a relevant professional body is an added advantage.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in estate, property, or facilities management.Knowledge of property management principles, building maintenance, and facility operations.Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and environmentalmanagement standards.Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and property/facility management systems.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
