Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant to handle all liaison work with government offices such as the Ministry of Health, Kenya Medical Practitioners Board, SHA, and other licensing authorities. The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage interactions with various government departments on licensing, permits, and other official matters. The candidate should have prior exposure to government institutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure timely completion of regulatory and compliance requirements. Experience in a medical institution will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities on licensing, permits, and approvals.
• Follow up on applications, renewals, and compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate submission and collection of official documents from relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, and correspondence with government offices.
• Track regulatory timelines and ensure timely renewals and submissions.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to gather required documentation.
• Provide regular status updates to management on pending and completed matters.
• Represent the organization professionally during government interactions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Liaison Officer or in a similar role involving government coordination.
• Strong understanding of government procedures, licensing, and regulatory processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
