Extended Care Assistant
PART-TIME
Position Opening for the 2026–2027 School Year
St. Teresa Catholic School is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Extended Care Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with children and is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment before and after school.
Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the Extended Care Program after school
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program
• Assist students with homework and provide age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and administration
• Support the Catholic mission of the school through positive role modeling and faith-based values
• Assist with snack distribution, attendance, and daily program organization
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Ability to supervise and engage students in grades PreK–8
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
  

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $15.00 – $17.00
• Life Insurance, 403B Retirement Plan
