Extended Care Assistant
PART-TIME
Position Opening for the 2026–2027 School Year
St. Teresa Catholic School is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Extended Care Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with children and is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment before and after school.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise students in the Extended Care Program after school
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program
- Assist students with homework and provide age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and administration
- Support the Catholic mission of the school through positive role modeling and faith-based values
- Assist with snack distribution, attendance, and daily program organization
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to supervise and engage students in grades PreK–8
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $15.00 – $17.00
- Life Insurance, 403B Retirement Plan
