JOB TITLE: FIELD ASSISTANT / ERRANDS COORDINATOR

NATURE OF JOB:  FULL TIME

INDUSTRY: LABORATORY SUPPLIES

SALARY: KSHS.20,000

JOB LOCATION: NGARA


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Operations & Deliveries:

  • Safely pick up and deliver technical documents, laboratory samples, and small equipment to clients, suppliers, and partner facilities.
  • Ensure all items are transported securely, adhering to company protocols for sensitive or valuable materials.
  • Maintain proper handling and documentation for all samples and equipment transported.


Logistical & Administrative Support:

  • Assist Procurement and Admin teams with urgent logistical errands, including clearing documents at customs or regulatory offices.
  • Perform routine banking tasks, post office runs, and delivery of statutory or legal documents.
  • Ensure all errands are completed in a timely and professional manner.


Vehicle & Record Management:

  • Maintain accurate logbooks of all deliveries and errands, noting timings, recipients, and any issues encountered.
  • Ensure company vehicles/motorcycles are clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.


Compliance & Safety:

  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company protocols while performing duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality for sensitive company and client information.
  • Uphold a professional image when interacting with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.


KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
  • A valid NTSA driving license
  • Clean driving record with proven safe driving history.
  • Excellent knowledge of Nairobi routes or designated operating regions in Kenya.
  • Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and high integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic administrative skills, including record keeping and documentation handling.
