Job Summary
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively engaging customers in the field, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships.This role requires a hands-on, self driven individual who is comfortable working on the road, understands automotive spare parts (particularly Isuzu), and can effectively convert leads into sales. The role combines business development, account management, and product promotion to achieve sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories
- Actively promote and sell automotive spare parts to garages, workshops, and retailers
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent field activity
- Conduct regular client visits to generate leads and close sales
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Drive repeat business and customer loyalty
Product Knowledge & Market Intelligence
- Maintain a strong understanding of vehicle spare parts, especially Isuzu products
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and availability
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market dynamics
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track sales performance, client visits, and conversion rates
- Ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery coordination
- Maintain proper records of customer interactions and transactions
Field Execution
- Plan and manage daily routes to maximize field coverage and efficiency
- Ensure effective time management between prospecting and client servicing
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in field sales, preferably in automotive or spare parts industry
- Strong understanding of vehicle spare parts, with preference for Isuzu knowledge
- Must be a competent and confident driver with a valid driving license
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable working in a field based, target driven environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
