To manage the company's day-to-day financial and cashiering operations, ensuring accurate financial records, proper handling of cash and payments, timely reconciliations, and compliance with KRA and other statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments and other financial transactions.
• Prepare bank and cash reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Handle the company's KRA tax-related obligations, including iTax and applicable tax filings.
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory payments.
• Maintain proper documentation for KRA audits and reviews.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and financial analysis.
• Use accounting and finance software to record and manage transactions. Cashiering
• Receive and process cash, card, mobile money and other customer payments.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Operate the company's POS/cashier or accounting system.
• Perform daily cash-ups and reconcile physical cash against system records.
• Prepare daily cash and transaction reports.
• Identify and report cash shortages, excesses or discrepancies.
• Safeguard company cash and financial documents.
• Handle customer queries relating to payments and transactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years' experience in finance, accounting, cashiering or a similar role.
• Good understanding of Kenyan taxation and KRA requirements.
• Practical experience using KRA iTax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software, POS systems or other cashiering/ERP software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, reliable and able to handle confidential financial information.
• CPA qualification or progress toward CPA will be an added advantage.
