FINANCE SPECIALIST- SOLAR COMPANY OR TECHNICAL COMPANY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Ø  Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Ø  Manage accounts payable and receivable.

Ø  Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules, and financial reconciliations.

Ø  Monitor cash flow, expenses, and company budgets.

Ø  Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

Ø  Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Ø  Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Ø  Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions.

Ø  Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.

Ø  Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Ø  Work closely with management, procurement, sales, and other departments on financial matters.

Ø  Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.

Ø  Identify financial discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective action.

Ø  Support internal and external audits when required.

Requirements

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

Ø  CPA qualification or progress toward CPA is an added advantage.

Ø  At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

Ø  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Ø  Good understanding of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Ø  Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Ø  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ø  Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Ø  Experience in the solar, power, engineering, construction, or technical industry will be an added advantage.
