Job summary
Our client is seeking for highly motivated Foreign Trade Sales Specialists to strengthen their international sales operations. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing overseas markets, managing export customers, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
Job descriptions & requirements
Qualifications:
Ø Age below 30 years with at least a Diploma in sales or related field.
Ø Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce, or related industries.
Ø Strong learning ability with the capacity to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
Ø Self-motivated, hardworking, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ø Good understanding of the Kenyan market with the ability to independently develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Ø Basic knowledge of international trade procedures, including contract negotiation, order processing, shipment follow-up, and after-sales service coordination.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
Key responsibilities:
· Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in Kenya.
· Promote the company's products and services to achieve sales targets.
· Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and quotation preparation to contract negotiation and order closure.
· Follow up on customer orders, coordinate deliveries, and provide after-sales support.
· Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
· Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
· Travel within Kenya as required to meet clients and expand the company's market presence.
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
